ILARO COMMUNITY STUDY CENTRE ORIENTATES FRESH STUDENTS ON 2023_2 ELECTRONIC EXAMINATIONS (E-EXAMS).

E-Examination is novel for majority of the students, newly admitted into the University. Thus, taking into consideration the novelty of 2023_2 semester e-examination to some students and prior to its commencement, the students at the Study Centre were taking through the processes involved in the administration of University electronic examinations. On the 24th of November, 2023 fresh students in their numbers were assembled in the e-examination room and were given one-hour lectures/demonstration by the senior members of staff of the Study Centre on: 1. How to login with their matriculation number as their username and password; 2. How to click the start button after the course to be attempted has appeared; 3. How to submit the attempted questions when they have finished with the examination; 4. How and where to watch the time set for the examination as the system will be logged out if they are unable to submit at the expiration of the scheduled time; and 5. Check and note the mark scored immediately after submission. Discussed further with the students were the Rules and Regulations guiding the administration of e-examinations as documented by the Authority of the University. The orientation was interactive and was rounded off by question and answer.
